# Welcome to Awakeness

### What is Awakeness?

The Awakeness platform is a decentralized crypto-based arena where individuals can participate in tournaments through the acquisition and sale of faction tokens. The ultimate goal of these competitions is to emerge victorious, thereby earning additional rewards. The overarching objective of Awakeness is to establish the first Star Wars-inspired gamified crypto experience, allowing members of our community to align themselves with a particular faction. This choice will not only affect the token's value but also result in a gamified narrative where one faction emerges victorious over the others. Which SIDE will you choose?

### Why Awakeness?

A gamified Star Wars-themed crypto experience, such as Awakeness, offers a unique and engaging way to participate in the crypto market. Instead of simply buying and selling tokens, Awakeness adds an element of competition and strategy through the tournament structure. By aligning oneself with a particular faction, users can also tap into the nostalgia and excitement of the Star Wars universe, adding a layer of fun and entertainment to the experience. Additionally, the platform's use of a random number generator to determine the timing of rounds adds an element of unpredictability and excitement, keeping the experience fresh and engaging. This approach sets it apart from other crypto projects that may only focus on buying and selling tokens. By combining the excitement of gaming with the potential for financial gain, Awakeness offers a unique and compelling option for those interested in the crypto market.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://awakeness.gitbook.io/awakeness/welcome-to-awakeness.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
